Mary Anne Mitchell is a fine art photographer working primarily in black and white with analog processes. Much of her recent work is shot using wet plate collodion. The images depict situations, often mysterious, which evoke her southern roots.
Mitchell’s recent solo exhibits include “Hidden Realms” at the Griffin Museum Of Photography, Winchester, MA (online) and her installation “Dreamscape”. This installation included a video as well as photographs printed on silk hung to create a maze that the viewer would wander through. This was exhibited at Thomas Deans Fine Art In Atlanta, GA.
Mary Anne’s work has been exhibited in solo and group exhibitions across the country and in Europe.
Her work can be found in private and corporate collections across the US, Dubai, Taiwan, and Canada. She lives in Atlanta, GA.
The work is available for purchase and exhibition. Please contact Mary Anne for more information.
